Job Designation The Senior Commercial Manager leads the commercial team/department and manages a variety of complex customer contracts, ensuring that both Meggitt and the customer adhere to their terms. Reviews and drafts complex contractual documentation and negotiates agreements in accordance with corporate policy and applicable legal requirements. Assesses contractual and commercial risk and provides appropriate advice to the commercial team and the business unit/SBU. Job Core Responsibilities Staff Management/Leadership Utilizing their strong leadership and team-building skills, leads and directs work for Commercial Team at SBU. Develops talent, setting clear and measurable performance objectives that tie directly to the SBU goals. Provides organizational advice, training, development and guidance to the Commercial Management team(s) Designs, implements, trains on standard work practices that are aligned with Site, Division and Group Policies and Procedures and raises Commercial Business Practices to Best in Class Manages staff selection, performance, development and training processes to ensure team competencies and capabilities to reach the business goals and expectations Customer/Business Management Ensure cradle to grave Customer Account/Contract management, including proposal preparation, terms and conditions compliance, negotiation, audit, administration and close-out. Production and development programs for commercial, US Government, and international contracts. Responsible for clarity and communication of all contractual obligations across functions within SBU. Provides conduit for key/crucial VOC into the SBU while representing the Business and it's interests in Customer engagements. Establishes and cultivates positive interactions with internal and external customers Responsible for ensure continuity of language and terms of various ancillary business documents/agreements such as NDA, Teaming Agreements, MOUs, Service Agreements etc. Monitors and reports on performance against contracts and SBU Commercial KPIs such as order intake/bookings, overdue debt, and VOC performance. Provides Business Context Training to other functions within the business unit - Actively supports the bid team in responding to RFI's or RFP's including obtaining necessary internal approvals Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance Other responsibilities as assigned Job Specifications Education:
Bacherlor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred Travel:

Experience:
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience o Thorough understanding of program/product profitability, pricing analysis, complex negotiations, program management best practices o Ability to source, structure and present business solutions to existing and prospective member business o Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure partner/member related issues are handled in a fair, consistent manner o Must have managerial experience along with strong leadership and team-building skills o Excellent oral and written communication skill o Ability to research and analyze data effectively o Ability to gather data, to compile information, and prepare reports/KPI metrics o Excellence verbal and written communication skills o Presentation skills o Ability to influence stakeholders o Excellent customer service orientation o Track record of building and maintaining customer/client relationships o Well-organized, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task o Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision, in order to meet deadlines o Strong prioritization skills o Ability to visualize and plan objectives and goals strategically o Supervisory skills, including delegation, training and evaluating performance o Team building Skills o Conflict management skills o Decision making skills o Demonstrated ability to provide cross-functional leadership o Ability to develop strategic plans to grow the business
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
ProcurementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
