Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Motivates operators to achieve work goals.
Assigns duties to operators.
Monitors production schedules to ensure requirements are met.
Notifies top management if production schedule will not support customer delivery requirements.
Monitors work environment to ensure safe working conditions.
Assists in management of production materials and tooling storage areas.
Identifies and reports nonconforming product to Quality Assurance.
Authorized to adjust CNC programs as necessary.
Authorized to make basic machine changes on the Shop Traveler.
Authorized to add deburr operations to Shop Traveler, as required.
Resolves worker complaints or submits unsettled grievances to Human Resources for action.
Other duties may be assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
