About The Position
The Branch Manager will be responsible for the business operations of the branch including the overall management of its employees.
Essential Responsibilities:
Manage a team of Loan Servicing Specialists, Marketing Representatives, Verification Specialists, Tellers, etc.
Participate in recruitment, coaching, evaluation, and development of branch employees.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with dealers and vendors.
Market, negotiate and enter into contracts with dealers for lending services.
Analyze, review, approve or deny auto loan applications for completeness; ensuring that they are accurate and in compliance.
Prepare and analyze reports.
Supervise the processing of customer payments.
Provide customer service support.
Manage branch portfolio of assets and ensure company business objectives are met by keeping account delinquencies below company benchmarks.
Monitor adherence to rules, regulations, policies and procedures to establish and maintain organizational structure.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
3-5 years of progressive management experience in the Auto Finance industry required; non-prime auto financing experience preferred.
Strong negotiation and problem solving skills.
Strong leadership skills.
Ability to interact with employees, customers and clients in a professional, tactful and sensitive manner.
Good communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
