Job Designation The Director of Operations will be responsible for leading the Operations efforts for all quality disciplines. This position will be responsible for driving continual process and product improvement throughout the organization and ensuring product integrity. The Director of Operations is a member of the Senior Leadership team and is the key point of contact with customers regarding operations requirements.   Job Core Responsibilities Leads and optimizes the facility andprocesses for operations to deliver customer andfinancialgoals for the business. Lead the scheduling and delivery of quality products on-time to meet customer requirements Responsible for development and implementation of long term objectives Lead and execute continuous improvement to reduce cost, improve competiveness relative to cycle times and improve quality Lead operations team and directs organizational development and training requirements for a high-performance work team Control and improve operational costs both direct and indirect Direct improvements for WIP inventory levels to drive competitive business position for future business Lead the development of global partners to improve costs and/or business capabilities The individual is on the Senior Leadership Team and works with the other team members to deliver results to all customers, shareholders and employees. Ensures standards for product quality, equipment, and operator performance are maintained and that cost-effective technology is used to maximize production. Ensures fixed assets are preserved. Initiates recommendations on purchases of new equipment and improvements to plant property. Develops, monitors, and reports on operating costs within functional areas. Alerts management of cost and labor over run and makes recommendations and implements solutions to problems related to same. Advises operation managers on labor issues including safety, security, employee relations, scheduling, training, grievances, etc. Ensures plant managers and supervises are adhering to company policy and administering practices in fair and equitable manner. Maintains and applies a broad understanding of financial management principals related to cash flow and working capital  to ensure decisions are fiscally sound and responsible Hires, trains, develop and appraise staff effectively. Keeps up-to-date on information and technology affecting functional area(s) to increase innovation and ensure compliance. Job Specifications Education Level: (Required):          Bachelor's Degree                or equivalent experience                                                                      Field of Study/Area of Experience: Bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering discipline, manufacturing or technical field 10+ years of experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment with increasing levels of responsibilities including supervision and management experience. Ability to drive relentless root cause analyses Six Sigma and/or Lean Certified Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Knowledge of proper customer relationship and customer service practices Ability to multi-task in a high volume setting Strong analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written Knowledge of aerospace company specifications and practices Ability to lead a group of people in a constructive, productive and fair manner Team oriented with a continuous improvement outlook Strong knowledge of financial strategies related to forecasting, staff requirements and developing action plans     This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
